Once you have mastered the Basic Foundation, you can progress to the Basic Progression course. Here, you will delve deeper into wave reading, understanding how waves form and break, and learning to identify potential riding opportunities. The course will also focus on wave catching techniques, including timing the paddle and positioning the board correctly. A key aspect of progression is learning to angle the board, allowing surfers to ride along the wave’s face rather than straight ahead. By mastering these skills, you will be able to ride longer, more dynamic waves and experience the thrill of surfing to its fullest potential
